  • Obligatory post so Xanga won't delete me

I'm still alive, just not really blogging.  (I still read everyone's posts, but I do that by RSS now, Google Reader if you're curious.)

Me: Happily married on the far side of a 2-year anniversary.  Living in Charleston, SC.  Graduated December 06 from Columbia International University (double major - Bible and General Studies, and the General Studies was free, so no, I'm not bragging about it.)  I'm the network and systems administrator for Seacoast Church.  My boss and I oversee 250 computers, ~300 users, and 30 servers at 16 campuses in 3 states.  Still driving the truck.  Family still lives in Tokyo.  We might try and move there this winter.  Thankfully no offspring yet.  We've lived in 4 different apartments in 12 months (nothing shady or weird, just lots of job-hopping.)  I've lost 20 pounds in the last month.  Jennifer and I watch Star Trek together regularly - we're on Voyager season 4, having done TOS, TNG, and DS9.

  • My Nerdy Side Shows

So Jennifer wanted chocolate chip pancakes this morning.  So I made her chocolate chip pancakes this morning.  I made the first one a little bit too big apparently since I failed to remember that chocolate chips harm the structural integrity of the overall pancake.  As I flipped it, it broke apart into about 7 different pieces all over the pan.  I said, "Hey babe, the pancake didn't quite hold together, but if you push all the pieces together, you could probably make a pangaeacake."
